Vocalist, pianist, composer, and arranger Peter Eldridge has six critically acclaimed albums: Fool No More, Stranger in Town, Decorum, Mad Heaven, Disappearing Day (which was called "an out and out masterpiece” by allaboutjazz), and most recently Peter and pianist/composer Kenny Werner joined forces on Somewhere, a collection of lush ballads for voice, string orchestra and jazz trio. Eldridge is finishing up first full-fledged musical with the working title ‘The Woman in Question’ (co-written with Chicago playwright Cheryl Coons) about painter Gustav Klimt. He is also a founding member of acclaimed vocal group, New York Voices, which has been involved in two Grammy-winning projects (Paquito D’Rivera and the Count Basie Orchestra). Collaborations include the vocal group MOSS, Becca Stevens, Bobby McFerrin, Fred Hersch, Chanticleer, the late Michael Brecker, Jonatha Brooke, Kurt Elling, Jane Monheit, Zach Galafianakis, Anat Cohen, and the late Jon Hendricks and Mark Murphy.
